To care for your ZZ plant in its ceramic tray, place the display in bright, indirect shade while keeping it completely away from harsh, direct sunlight. Water the plant thoroughly only when the soil becomes 100% bone-dry, ensuring you always empty any leftover water from the ceramic tray to prevent root rot. Plant it in a loose, fast-draining succulent mix, and feed it with a diluted liquid fertilizer just twice during the summer. Finally, keep the plant healthy and shiny by wiping dust off the glossy leaves with a damp cloth once a month.
